Stewards of Power

The Energy Development Corporation (EDC) is the largest 100% renewable energy company specializing in geothermal, wind, hydro, and solar power in the Philippines.

I was commissioned to photograph images for their Annual Report, titled “Greenergized,” highlighting the company’s commitment to environmental and social responsibility.

Here, the Board of Directors, considered  “Stewards of Power” since they held the key to “power” in terms of energy, are shown painting with children to symbolize their commitment to a greener, healthier and more sustainable environment for future generations.

Working with design studio KestrelDDM, this was a 4-day shoot consisting of studio time with the children, portraits of the Key Executives and Board of Directors, and an on-location shoot at EDC’s hydroelectric power plant.
